Thanks for joining our commentary this afternoon. Until next time, goodbye.
Arsenal put their nightmare from Anfield behind them as they put in a disciplined performance at Stamford Bridge this afternoon to claim a valuable point on the road. Chelsea were far from their best in the final third and were then reduced to 10 men when David Luiz flew into a reckless challenge on Sead Kolasinac. Antonio Conte will be disappointed by his side’s lack of cutting edge and also their discipline this season as Luiz is their third player to see red this term.

It’s goalless at the break at Stamford Bridge, but both Chelsea and Arsenal have had excellent opportunities. The Blues’ best moment of the half came when Pedro was put through, but he fired straight at Petr Cech. Arsenal have argubaly had the better of the chances as Danny Welbeck headed over, while Aaron Ramsey struck the post before Alexandre Lacazette fired the rebound over the bar. Arsene Wenger will be the happier of the two managers, but will want to see more of a clinical edge from his team.
