The Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar, said on Saturday that asking has no premise in Islam and tested those taking part in the demonstration to discover honest to goodness methods for procuring a living.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Abubakar made the comment in Sokoto at the graduation of 2000 ladies prepared in different abilities by the Wife of Sokoto State Governor Hajiya Mairo Tambuwal.

The preparation was led in a joint effort with Sokoto State Zakkat and Endowment Commission to engage the ladies drawn from the 86 areas of the state.

He recognized Mrs Tambuwal for starting the program and rebuked the recipients to use the chance to enhace their occupation.

Prior, the representative’s significant other had communicated gratefulness to the Sultanate Council, the state government and Zakkat commission for supporting the activity.

She said that the abilities preparing was mainly to make ladies in the state independent.

Mrs Tambuwal, who was spoken to by Hajiya Hauwa Muhammad, approached the recipients to apply the new aptitudes they gained to elevate their financial status and add to the general improvement of the state.
