Nigerian singer Buju BNXN has faced criticism, insults, and attacks on X from fans of his senior colleague Davido.
The reason for the backlash is Buju BNXN’s upcoming concert in Canada, with 30BG fans mocking him for being unable to fill a 2,000-capacity arena.
These fans claimed that fewer than 500 tickets had been sold for the concert, advising Buju to cancel the show.
Nigerian singer Daniel Etiese Benson, also known as Buju BNXN, has faced severe criticism from Davido’s fans following reports that his upcoming concert in Toronto, Canada, may not be successful.
According to comments on X (formerly Twitter), Buju BNXN struggled to sell out a 2,700-capacity arena in Toronto.
Some 30BG fans have suggested that Buju BNXN cancel the concert and reconsider his strategy. These remarks seem to have affected Buju, prompting him to retaliate and challenge the leader of the 30BG movement.
Buju has been engaged in a heated exchange and shows no signs of backing down. He tweeted about his disdain for bullies and his determination to confront the trolls.
In one of his tweets, Buju stated that he can be just as petty as the 30BG trolls but has progressed beyond engaging in petty arguments. Nonetheless, he dared the 30BG fans to give him £10k to cancel the show.
This isn’t the first time Buju has clashed with 30BG fans online, and he has criticized their leader, Davido, on multiple occasions in the past.
