Former Barcelona Head coach Luis Enrique feels he could have won La Liga in his final season but for behind the scene efforts from Lionel Messi and NeymarJnr.
Luis Enrique left the club after leading the squad to Copa Del Rey glory with a 3 – 1 win over Alaves in the final on Saturday.
The Catalans lost the Liga title to Real Madrid on the final day of the season and were eliminated by Juventus in the quarter-final stage of the Champions League.
According to reports in Spain, the duo were behind Enrique’s decision to call it a day after they told senior club figures that a new manager should be brought in.
