Barcelona midfielder Arda Turan has resigned from the Turkey national group after supposedly gagging a writer on a group flight.
The 30-year-old is asserted to have had a verbal and physical showdown with a writer on a flight taking after an agreeable against Macedonia over detailing that had been done which pointed the finger at Turan for making disagreement among the squad over reward cash.
As per Reuters, Turan confessed to “committing an error” and has left his national group.
“I committed an error while wearing the national group uniform. It was something that ought not have occurred on the national group plane,” he said.
As per English daily paper The Independent, the episode happened on the group plane to Italy on Monday night when Turan professedly approach Bilal Meşe of the Turkish distribution Milliyet.
