Set in the provincial American South amid World War II, Dee Rees’ Mudbound is an epic story of two families set against each other by a merciless social chain of command, yet bound together by the mutual farmland of the Mississippi Delta.
Mudbound takes after the McAllan family, recently transplanted from the peaceful respectfulness of Memphis and not ready for the unforgiving requests of cultivating. Regardless of the affected dreams of Henry (Jason Clarke), his better half Laura (Carey Mulligan) battles to keep the confidence in her significant other’s losing wander.
