A fundamental college trainer whose heroics went viral after pictures of him teaching ICT on a board went viral has received the attention of Microsoft.
Owura Kwadwo shared photographs of himself on his Facebook page weeks ago coaching students the way to discover basic elements on a computer monitor without actual assets.
He resorted to the drawing board to teach students in his class a way to use a computer.
The ICT instructor sketched a median Microsoft Word document on the chalkboard with the parts of the window labelled, permitting the students to get a honest concept of the various elements of a regular Word document.
His dedication to educate and determination to make his students realise the concern received interest of a few people on social media who made pleas for him to get support.
An entrepreneur on Twitter Rebecca Enonchong @africatechie appealed to Microsoft Africa to assist the teacher with sources and build his capacity to encourage him hold on together with his venture.
This appeal turned into warmly welcomed via the Microsoft Africa crew who answered to her tweet via emphasising that “Supporting teachers to enable digital transformation in education is at the core of what we do. We will equip Owura Kwadwo with a device from one of our partners, and access to our MCE program & free professional development resources on”
This gesture has been lauded by many on social media.
