The management of the African Independent Television, AIT, has sacked at the least three hundred of its staff.
According to reviews, the sack happened today and its believed to had been directed by its owner Raymond Dokpesi who allegedly signed the letters for the disengaged group of workers.

The exercising became said to have been carried out to allow a repositioning of the media business enterprise. AIT, that is a part of the DAARS Communications Limited, owes backlog of team of workers salaries which a few placed at between five to 13 months.
This comes slightly 24-hours after The Sun newspapers purged numerous of its personnel, such as senior editorial members.
We can only hope that the nonproductive members of the Board of Directors was included in this purge. Hopefully they will follow through with closing the nonperforming out stations that have been draining resources.
That could only happen in a body of SANE management…
This country is duped

Dean Gay PART 8 OF 10
Reporter: “Mr. Akiotu, it is becoming painfully clear that you have no concept of the principal Fiduciary duties of A Board of Directors. Even though you have been the General Managing Director of DAAR Communications since May of 2009. Please look it up.
I have been doing some calculations of the losses you have caused the shareholders and owners of DAAR based on you’re so called projects that we have talked about. This does not include you over seeing the 95.3% drop in share prices or your own salary and benefits.
Total loss: N4,977,500,000.00 Naira
Average per year: N633,187,500.00 Naira
This is an incredible amount of money. God has no idea how you can throw money away like this and at the same time hold an expatriate who served DAAR well for 10 years hostage in Nigeria by not paying him the 19 million that has been due to him for the last 14 months. I am of course speaking of Engineer Dean Gay.
You have had this man thrown in jail, tried to have him deported, and had him held at gunpoint by the NPF. What do you have in mind next for him? God is not happy with you.”
just type in Dean Gay abuja in the fb search box and you should find me. It has a stop sign that says “stop corruption”

Part 7 of 10
Reporter: “OK Mr. Akiotu, please continue telling about your success in Owerri, Imo State.
Akiotu: “Sure, we leased a building in the ICAPS area and moved in a complete state of the art Radio and Television Station including generators, tower, everything. It is working so well that I believe I have some type of award from the Imo State government around here, (looking around the office)”
Reporter: “I guess you just don’t get it, Akiotu, I am God, and you can’t lie to me. Remember you can lie to Engineer Dean Gay and everyone else but you cannot lie to me.
Here are the facts: sure you got the building and shipped all of the equipment to Owerri, but you neglected to finish the project. Not a single frame of video on AIT was ever transmitted from Owerri. Not a single word on Raypower was ever transmitted from Owerri. In fact you stopped paying the security people at that site and all of the equipment was carted off by looters. Total loss to DAAR Communications, almost 2 million dollars U.S.
Akiotu: “But, but, I can show you right here it is on the AIT web site as one of our station locations.
Reporter: “you need to keep your web master up to date on the reality of operational AIT stations. The AIT web site is full lies.
In addition to everyone else you lie to you allow the potential clients and existing clients to think they have coverage in Owerri. I wonder how many other stations are not operating. Mr. Akiotu, this is called false advertising. I would not doubt that some of the clients that pay for time on AIT and Raypower are going to want a refund once they learn about this.”
