Tobi Bakare has thrown critical jabs at the winner of Big Brother Naija 2017, Efe Ejeba. In a current chat with Punch, Tobi who came 3rd within the 2018 BBNaija show, reportedly stated many people voted the past winner out of pity.
What he said when asked how he felt whilst he made it to the very last 3 of the reality show

I was so satisfied once I made it to the final 3. I became very happy because I knew that at that state, all people should come to be the winner. We did no longer recognize the amount of affection people had for us outside the residence.

I specifically wanted people to love me and see the values that I had due to the fact I knew that whenever I left the residence, that’s what people might nonetheless love about me.

Personally, I suppose that in the last Big Brother that held, people voted for the winner out of pity no longer due to the fact they clearly noticed price or potential in the winner, this is just my personal opinion, I stand to be corrected. But as for me, I wanted to go to the house and people to love me to the volume that after I go away the residence, I would be a mentor to other people based totally on my behaviour within the residence. I wanted people to still want to know about the Tobi brand after the show and that was my driving force.
