Ogun Assembly receives Amotekun Bill

Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State has sent to the state House of Assembly, a Bill for a law to build up the Ogun State Security Network Agency and Amotekun Corps.

The Bill was sent to the House on Wednesday after a broad consultation on it daily prior at the State’s Executive gathering led by Abiodun.

The House of Assembly managed by Speaker Kunle Oluomo, on Thursday recognized the receipt of a correspondence from the Governor passing on the proposed Bill.

The Assembly emphasized its restored confirmation of bridling the perspectives on the populace and important partners in the authoritative procedure of guaranteeing the quick entry of the bill into law.

The proposed charge as indicated by the senator’s letter to the Assembly dated twelfth February, 2020, read by the Speaker, Rt. Hon.
