Former manager and mentor to defunct music duo, P-Square, Bayo Odusami popularly known as Howie-T is dead.
The Showbiz aficionado, according to a family member died Saturday morning after battling with a debilitating stroke for over four years. Howie T was the one who discovered and nurtured to recognition the music duo when he funded and released the group’s maiden album titled, “Last Nite” on his Timbuk2 record label in 2003.
Before becoming a label owner and show promoter, he worked as a full-time disc jockey, entertaining fun lovers at ‘Enter the Dragon’, a hotspot located at Western House, Lagos, Sunrise nite club (Victoria island, Lagos), and Club Towers (Victoria island, Lagos).
Taking to his Instagram page, Peter mourned the death of his old friend and colleague. He wrote: ” There are certain people in life that your story or journey is incomplete without, Howie T is one of such people. I honestly believed you’d pull through this time and I’m thankful I got to spend some time with you recently, reliving some of the early days and talking about what the future holds.
Thank you Howie for believing and being there for us. Thank you for your tremendous contribution to my career and the Nigerian entertainment industry. My family and I, our thoughts and prayers are with Tunrayo and the girls at this very difficult time. Good night big man. ????????
