Instagram comedian, Pankeeroy has clarified why he was captured by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission subsequent to regaining freedom.
It was generally detailed that the entertainer was captured with 34 others in April 2021, by agents of the Lagos Zonal Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, for supposed contribution in PC related misrepresentation.
Anyway in an articulation delivered not long after he regained freedom, Pankeeroy whose genuine name is Nwagbo Oliver Chidera guaranteed that he was captured dependent on false data that he is a digital money enthusiast. His attorneys anyway said he was released “as there was no type of nexus connecting him to the implied commission of the researched crime”.
Saying thanks to his fans for their help, the comedian additionally expressed that none of his properties were seized by the counter join office.
