Xavi Hernandez, the manager of Barcelona, has matched the mark that Pep Guardiola, the previous club manager, set.
The Spaniard became the first manager in the club’s history to win three consecutive Classico games after Guardiola. When Guardiola was in charge of the Catalonia club in 2011, he accomplished this achievement.
Barcelona defeated Real Madrid 3-1 in the Spanish Super Cup final, 1-0 in the first round of the Copa Del Rey, and most recently 2-1 at Camp Nou.
Real Madrid was defeated by Barcelona in both of the Classico’s legs this year. With the victory at Camp Nou, Barcelona is able to pull ahead of the Galacticos with 12 points
