[News] : #BringBackOurGirls group gives conditions for joining military on Sambisa tour

The #BringBackOurGirls group has illustrated an arrangement of conditions to be met by the Nigerian government before tolerating its welcome for a stumble into Sambisa forest.

The legislature had asked Oby Ezekwesili, the convener of the promotion group, to select three of their individuals to join the military on a guided stumble into Sambisa forest looking for the missing Chibok girls.

In a letter dated January 11th and marked by Information Minister, Lai Mohammed, the legislature said the trek would benefit the BBOG gather the chance to witness and better comprehend the endeavors being made to secure the flexibility of the abducted girls.

The letter said the outing, arranged by the military, would see welcomed BBOG individuals and a select gathering of writers joining the Minister Of Defence and Information, the Chief of Air Staff and Chief of Army Staff for the visit.

Reacting to the welcome, the BBOG group said its individuals collectively concurred that they were interested in investigating the opportunity.

“We had an emergency meeting of our Movement to talk about your welcome to set out on a ‘guided visit’ of the Nigerian Air Force Command (Yola) and Sambisa Forest with authorities of the administration,” the gathering expressed in their letter dated January 13th and marked by Mrs. Ezekwesili.

“We trust that this earlier meeting would give direct learning of, and answers to inquiries that our development wishes to raise in front of the guided visit.”

The gathering recommended that members at the meeting incorporate the National Security Adviser, the Minister of Defense, the Chief of Army Staff, and the Chief of Air Force.

The gathering blamed the Chief for Army Staff, Tukur Buratai, of embracing an announcement by “a specific gathering” going to him which depicted the BBOG development as participating in “web-based social networking psychological oppression”.

“It is confusing that the revealed said visit happened under 48 hours before our Movement got your letter requesting that we go in the organization of a similar Chief of Army Staff to Sambisa Forest,” the gathering expressed.

“We request accordingly that in front of the pre-visit meeting we have proposed thus, that the Chief of Army Staff withdraws and apologizes for supporting such hostile assaults against our Movement #BringBackOurGirls and particularly at some of our pioneers.

“Such a stage would convey, to the point that it is with goodwill that the Federal Government is requesting that we engage the visit proposed in your letter.”

More than 200 young girls were stolen from Government Secondary School, Chibok, in April 2014 by Boko Haram insurgents.
