Previous Military President, General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida, has affirmed that the Nigerian Army is winning the war against insurgency and strife in the country.
Congratulating with the Army on the event of the Armed Forces Remembrance Day, Babangida praised the relinquish and exertion of the military in breaking the operational hub of Boko Haram psychological oppressors.
This was contained in an announcement marked by his media office in Minna.
The announcement peruses to some degree: “The 2017 Remembrance Day comes during an era that our military, military men and ladies are increasing more ground in the battle against rebellion and clashes rode regions of Nigeria.
“As we praise the Armed Forces Remembrance Day, to take load of the penances by the men and ladies of the military, particularly the fallen legends that paid the preeminent penances of keeping up peace in our nation as well as past the shores of Nigeria, let us laud the late exertion of our courageous military for breaking the operational hub of Boko Haram fear based oppressors”.
He included that “In our group and individual makes plans to keep Nigeria’s solidarity, regardless of sectional, religious, social leanings, we need to find a way to handle the immense difficulties of uncertainty and doubt to proportionate the penances made by our outfitted security workforce.”
He forewarned against unguarded expressions by Nigerians and governments at all levels that may influence national solidarity.
