President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday said he has met with Christian from all over the country and exchanged ideas with them.
Speaking when he hosted some Islamic clerics to breaking of Ramadan fast at the presidential villa in Abuja, Buhari referred to as on religious leaders to heighten prayers for a better and progressive Nigeria.
The president, who recalled meeting with the students over the past Ramadan period in 2015, found out that he had similar conferences with Christian clerics before the start of Ramadan length.
Buhari’s remark is coming hours after the northern region of the Christian association of Nigeria (CAN) accused him of sidelining Christians in appointment.
