Two years after it was first appeared in London, a musical play, ‘Oliva Tweest’ is set to make a big appearance in Nigeria.
The musical, which is roused by pop star, D’banj’s 2011 monstrous hit, ‘Oliver Twist’, recounts the narrative of an ‘arrogant and wanton young fellow, Tobi who tries all that he can to get the consideration of a female artist. In his endeavors he finds a universe of untruths, desire and parental weight’.
The cast incorporate prominent artist and choreographer, Ezinne Asinugo and British-Nigerian on-screen character, Emmanuel Imani with cooperation from Yinka Ayinde, a London-based theater creator and maker Yemisi Mokuolu.
The musical will hang on 25 February at the University of Lagos and it will be shot by Mark Pengelly, a UK-based Director of Photography, and demonstrated worldwide crosswise over online networking.
