FasasiKayode Ogundamisi, a popular social activist, political commentator and a supporter of President Muhammadu Buhari has called on federal government to drop the charges against activist, Omoyele Sowore.
The Federal Government, on Friday, filed seven counts of treasonable felony and money laundering against Sowore.
In a tweet on Saturday, Mr Ogundamisi said that Sowore had been a friend of President Buhari.
He added that a misdemeanor that should have been sorted out in a magistrate court in Lagos is being overblown.
“I have read copies of the charges brought against Sowore of SaharaReporters, as a friend of Buhari government all I can say again is DROP ALL THE CHARGES and #FreeSowore
