Joke Ajadi belongs to the brand new era of actresses who’re making waves in Nollywood. The svelte actress who hails from Kwara State bagged a B.Sc diploma in Mass Communications from University of Lagos. In this interview with TheNewsGuru, the gifted actress opens up on her passion for appearing, having on crush on Mike Ezuronye , among different problems.
Can you tell us about yourself?
I am Ajoke Ajadi. I was born and brought up in Lagos. I bagged a degree in Mass Communications from University of Lagos. I joined the movie industry in 2012 and I have featured in a couple of movies.
What was your first onscreen experience like?
My first on screen experience was at Bola Akindele’s Production. The location was at Ikorodu. I was asked to play the role of a dead person. It was difficult for me to close my eyes. I was just blinking. I was so happy to be seen on TV for the first time then. My parents were the first people to call me, telling me they saw me on TV. They told me to come to the sitting room, adding that a movie I featured in is being shown on TV. That was before I lost my dad. May his soul in rest in peace.
How did you deal with producers who wanted sex for roles?
I have not come across people like that. I hear it happens
What is the craziest thing you have done for love?
I cannot remember
Who will you regard as your celebrity crush?
I like Mike Ezuronye. He is cute and talented.
What is your opinion about premarital sex?
It’s normal. Those days people wait till they get married before they have sex, but these days you have to check it out to know what you are going into.
Can you act nude for 30 billion naira?
For 30 billion? Yes! That amount of money can solve a lot of problems for so many people. It can even transform my village and yours.
What is that one thing you will love to change about yourself?
I will love to change nothing about myself. I am super cute and damn sexy.
