Afrobeat front-liner, Femi Anikulapo-Kuti, on Sunday evening broke the world record for the longest single note played on a saxophone.
Femi played for a record 46mins 38secs to beat jazz artist, Kenny G’s 45mins 37 secs, set in 1997.
He broke the record at the Sunday Jump occasion at Africa Shrine, Agidingbi, Lagos.
The record was softened up the nearness of an expansive group of onlookers that included Sen. Ben Murray-Bruce, the appointee high chiefs of Netherlands and The United Kingdom, reports Femi’s sister, Yeni.
“Femi did it at 55 years of age,” his sister, Yeni said on Instagram.
