Former Manchester United chairman Martin Edwards blasts Cristiano Ronaldo claiming the Portuguese football star is more selfish than rival Lionel Messi.
Ronaldo and Messi were both involved in the Champions League quarterfinal games on Wednesday night, April 10, for Juventus and Barcelona respectively.
Juventus drew 1-1 with goals from Ronaldo and David Neres, Barcelona registered a narrow win over the Red Devils courtesy of an early Luke Shaw own goal.

“I saw him the first time, at the age of 18, with Bolton in August and I was excited, he did certain tricks with the ball, the guys and I call them one trick ponies, the talented horses, who like to amaze, tried shooting and produced magic, if but a flash.
”Then he developed so much, but we couldn’t imagine it coming to this. Not even Ferguson.
“Comparison between Ronaldo and Messi? The Argentine is more of a team man, and is also noticeable when he rejoices. He goes towards his companions. CR7 is more selfish, tends to celebrate on his own and expects others to run towards him,” Edwards told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Earlier, there was a report that, Juventus superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is among the richest footballers in the world considering what he earns in Turin and also the money he has made since he began his football career.

Cristiano Ronaldo is now one of the few footballers to own Rolls Royce’s new Cullinan which cost the ex Real Madrid star £276,000.
