Govs-elect, others get Certificates of Return

Governors-sopt for of Rivers State, Siminialayi Fubara; Delta State, Mr Sheriff Oborevwori; and Taraba State, Lt. Col. Agbu Kefas, in addition to different states, on Wednesday, obtained their Certificates of Return from the Independent National Electoral Commission.

INEC`s National Commissioner supervising Akwa-Ibom, Bayelsa, and Rivers states, Mrs May Agbamuche-Mbu, in Port Harcourt, surpassed over the certificate to Fubara; his deputy, Ngozi Odu; and the 32 members-sopt for of the Rivers State House of Assembly.

Speaking after receiving his certificate, Fubara stated, “For the opposition, our doorways are open, along with our window. If you don`t need to byskip the door, you could input via the window due to the fact we actually need every person on board for a higher and greater innovative Rivers State.”

Also, Oborevwori expressed happiness for the fulfillment of the election after receiving his Certificate of Return from the Resident Electoral Commissioner in Delta State, Mr Monday Tom.
He stated, “I`m very very satisfied to acquire Certificate of Return from INEC. It is an crucial day for me.

“The Peoples Democratic Party labored very difficult to win the election, specifically the Ethiope East in which the PDP by no means gained election for the beyond 20 years.”

Meanwhile, Kefas stated he could prioritise protection and infrastructural improvement whilst he assumes workplace on May 29.
Kefas disclosed this in an interview with reporters after he obtained his Certificate of Return from INEC in Jalingo.

He said, “I will look at where the government has stopped and continue where necessary. I will prioritise security of lives of property, promote agriculture, stomach infrastructure to give our people good quality life, improve health care for the betterment of the people.
