The high Minister of Iceland, Sigmundur David Gunnlaugsson, has resigned, becoming the primary high profile casualty of the Panama Papers scandal.
After the information broke, Sigmundur David Gunnlaugsson who was granting an interview to a journalist stormed out of the interview over the weekend , amid claims he used mystery offshore firm Mossack Fonseca to cover thousands and thousands of bucks as Iceland’s financial system collapsed.
Monday night time, about 24,000 human beings gathered outside the parliament building worrying his resignation.
Mr Gunnlaugsson has resigned as high Minister, but says he’ll live on as leader of the progressive birthday party.
