Alex Iwobi, the Super Eagles’ forward, has recovered from a bout of ‘traveller’s diarrhoea’ and has joined up with his teammates ahead of the double-header Nations Cup qualifier against Egypt.
Reports had counseled that he suffered from meals poisoning and have been hospitalised.
Toyin Ibitoye, the spokesperson of the great Eagles, advised TheCable on Tuesday that Iwobi is now hail and hearty after the scare.
Traveler’s diarrhoea (TD) is defined as a belly and intestinal infection affecting guests, main to frequent stooling inside a 24-hour duration and usually observed by means of belly cramps, nausea and bloating.
Reports quoted Samson Siasia, the train, as pronouncing Iwobi contracted food poisoning after ingesting salad.
