Lilian Friday is a native of Otuoke and Emeyal community all in Ogbia local government area of Bayelsa state, she is 16-year-old and a student of Community Secondary School, Otuoke.
The amount needed for cardinal operation and eyelid surgery repair is three hundred thousand naira (₦300,000.00) only. Her mother, Mrs Igbogi Progress, a native of Otuoke community and a farmer by profession have obtained an interest loan of one hundred and fifty thousand naira (₦150,000.00) only for the purpose of the surgery.
The flesh of the eyelids has grown back completely covering the eye. Lilian at the moment is unable to open her right eye.
Lilian was attacked by suspected female cultists believed to be between the ages of 14 to 16 years for refusing to identify and join their cult group.
Her right eye was damaged leaving her unconscious after the attack on 26th of April, 2018
The surgical operation is slated for 26th June 2018 being Tuesday.
