[News] : Buhari absent as Osinbajo leads FEC meeting

VP Yemi Osinbajo is managing today’s week after week Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting at the presidential manor, Abuja.

This is the first occasion when he will manage the meeting since President Muhammadu Buhari came back from his medicinal get-away in London, United Kingdom (UK) on March 10.

President Buhari came back to the nation on March 10, after he had burned through 49 days taking care of his well-being.

The President was at the presidential estate as at 11 am Wednesday when the gathering meeting commenced‎. It is not clear why he remained up from the meeting.

FEC, as constituted, is managed by the President and has the Vice President, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), the National Security Adviser (NSA), Head of Service of the Federation (HoSF) and bureau serves as individuals.
