[News] : Court remands ex-FCT minister in Kuje prison

A High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) on Wednesday remanded a Ex-FCT Minister  for the country’s capital, Bala Mohammed, in the Kuje Maximum Prison.

He was summoned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on a six-check charge for asserted mishandle of office while he filled in as FCT pastor.

Mohammed was docked for his claimed contribution in the accumulation of satisfaction to the tune of N550 million amid his spell as priest.

He was likewise blamed for neglecting to pronounce his properties.

The ex-serve argued not liable to the charges.

The managing judge, Abubakar Talba, later deferred controlling on Mohammed’s safeguard application till May 12.

He requested that the litigant be remanded in jail pending the assurance of the safeguard application.
