[News] Fani-Kayode alleges plan to raid houses of two prominent church leaders, plant weapons

Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has alleged that there are plans to raid the houses of two prominent church leaders.

In a series of tweets on Monday, Fani-Kayode claimed that weapons would be planted during the operation and they will be declared terrorists.

He, however, did not reveal the names of the pastors.

Fani-Kayode tweeted: “The plan to storm the homes of 2 prominent Church leaders and 2 key opposition figures, plant weapons and declare them terrorists will fail.

“It is not a wrongdoing to talk up for our confidence. It is not a wrongdoing to confront unfairness. It is not a wrongdoing to battle for the persecuted.”

The previous Minister had before expressed that the bill trying to build up a commission that would control non-legislative associations (NGOs), will handicap religious associations like places of worship and mosques.
