Nigeria’s crude oil export is set to ascend by 8,350 barrels of oil per day (bopd) as Green Energy International Limited (GEIL), revealed that it is going to begin constant full generation and departure from the Otakikpo Marginal field in Oil Mining Lease (OML) 11, Vanguard reports.
Green Energy, in an announcement in Abuja, marked by its Technical Director, Mr. Bunu Alibe, expressed that the arranged initiation of crude export was taking after the fruitful finishing of Maximum Efficiency Rate (MER), test on the generation wells of the Otakikpo marginal field, regulated by the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR).
As indicated by him the field has the capacity of adding around 10,000 bopd to the national generation within a short. He expressed that the organization and its Technical Partner – Lekoil Oil and Gas Investment Limited were ready to complete all procedures towards crude petroleum export before the finish of the quarter.
