[News] Hungry Armed Robbers Arrested In Kogi, They Were Caught Eating In Victim’s House

The Kogi state Police command have arrested a few armed robbers who invaded the house of a couple in Lokoja, Kogi State,for the duration of the Yuletide.
The 5 suspects have been said to have invaded the residence of the couple on December 28, at approximately 2am even as the own family became asleep.

The husband, Chris Edime, who narrated his ordeal to journalists at the police headquarters in Lokoja at some stage in a parade of the suspects, said he became awoken by means of the noise of the robbers who gain entry into the kids’s room and looted the residence.

“They ordered all of us to lie face down; of them entered the kitchen to put together meals, whilst of them drove me to an ATM to empty my account,” he explained.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, William Aya, an Assistant Superintendent of Police, said Edume stated to the command that the gunmen stole his Infinity G35X salon automobile and family appliances.

“Investigations led to the arrest of one Mohammed Ibrahim in Lagos, from whom the automobile become recovered,” Aya stated.
