Yahaya Bello And President Buhari

Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello, has stated his support for President Muhammadu Buhari remain unshaken and might do some thing for the President if he so request.

Bello stated this while reacting to President Buhari’s propose towards extending the tenure elongation of National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

According to him, “I am an ardent supporter of President Muhammadu Buhari, who has said that we ought to persist with the 1999 Constitution and APC Constitution. If Buhari asks me to jumo into fire, I will not hesitate to jump into it.”

On why he earlier backed Chief John Oyegun to elongate the tenure elongation, he stated:

“They are announcing that I have problem with Asiwaju Bola Tinubu; that is why I supported tenure elongation.

“I have no trouble with Asiwaju, he’s my leader. And President Buhari is the chief of all. I was assisting you (Oyegun and NWC) however we should hold National Convention.”
