[News] : Maid arrested in Ondo for putting rat poison in boss’s food

A young housemaid, Mary Akinnifesi, has been captured by the Ondo State Police Command for supposedly endeavoring to murder her supervisor, Alhaji Nasiru Akinlosotu, with toxic substance.

The occurrence happened at Adetomowo Street, Ondo town, Ondo State, on Friday.

Alhaji Akinsolotu said that his significant other approached Mary to get ready beans for the family, yet the house keeper purportedly added rodent toxin to the nourishment.

The 63-year-old clarified that as he was eating the sustenance, he saw that it had a weird taste and a hostile scent.

He said he retched the little he had gulped from the nourishment and got some information about the substance of the sustenance.

His words: “It was throughout cross examination by our neighbor that the cleaning specialist admitted that she put rodent harm into my own share of the nourishment.

“She additionally admitted that she chose to add toxic substance to my sustenance since I beat her whenever she submitted an offense in the house”, he told Punch.

Mary was given over to the police at the Yaba Police Division in Ondo town.

Ondo State police PRO, Femi Joseph, affirmed the occurrence and said test was progressing.
