[News] Man Resists Police Arrest In Lagos. Photos

There was a mild drama in Lagos metropolis after a young man resisted to be arrested by police officers attached to the Lagos task force. The policemen tried to bundle the man into their waiting vehicle, but he firmly resisted as he claimed his innocence.

While the man was resisting the arrest, his friend who tried to interfere, got kicked away by one of the policemen.

After causing much scene in public, the policemen had to let the man to go.

Meanwhile, Lagos States Government yesterday arraigned 50 suspects before Chief Magistrate Bola Osunsanmi of Court 4, Ikeja Magisterial District over an attacked and vandalisation of government equipment (caterpillar) around Idansan Village, Ibeju, Lekki, Lagos.

Chairman of the Lagos State Task Force CSP Olayinka Egbeyemi disclosed that these 50 arraigned suspects including 4 girls attacked officials of Lagos State Building Control Agency (LASBCA) while on official duties demolishing illegal shanties errected on acquired land and set fire on a caterpillar belonging to the government.
