Nigeria has been picked by Confederation of African Football to have the Africa Beach Soccer Cup of Nations.
The Nigeria Football Federation affirmed this on Tuesday evening in a letter tended to president Amaju Pinnick from the Caf.
“Considering undoubtedly that the Fifa Beach Soccer World Cup may be held mid 2017, and that Caf in odd years do sort out three noteworthy occasions consecutive, in particular the Africa Cup of Nations took after by the U20 and U17 Cup of Nations from January to April 2017, the Caf Executive Committee chose to facilitate the general schedule of occasions by arranging the Beach Soccer Cup of Nations each even years starting now and into the foreseeable future,” the letter from Caf read.
“Henceforth, we anticipate a colossal rivalry and to meet your group as quickly as time permits to begin the arrangements of the said rivalry.”
The opposition charged to be facilitated in Lagos in December will serve as the qualifying competition for the 2017 Fifa Beach Soccer World Cup to be arranged in The Bahamas.
