A Nigerian undergrad who professedly tricked ladies on Facebook has been charged at the Magistrate Court in Malaysia.
Collins Sparklys Obianke, 33 (imagined leaving the Petaling Jaya Magistrate Court) who was charged at two separate courts here argued not blameworthy and asserted trial before judge Salamiah Salleh and justice Mohd Azali Ibrahim.
The suspected fraudster was accepted to have duped Foo Pooi Yun, 38 and S. Vanitha, 31 into making them trust that they had gotten a package containing blessings from abroad that obliged them to store RM10,500 into a financial balance between Aug 24 and Sept 14 2015. The bundles should contain a purse, portable workstation, cell telephone, watches, shades and aroma.
He was charged under Section 420 of the Penal Code for bamboozling which conveys 10 years prison, whipping and a fine if indicted.
The court permitted RM11,000 safeguard in one surety for both charges. Obianke who was spoken to by legal advisor L. A Gomes was additionally requested to surrender his international ID to the court.
