Sanwo-olu Makes U-Turn, Suspends Reopening Of Churches & Mosques (See Why)

Lagos State government has declared the suspension of the re-opening of places of worship and mosques in the state.

Review that Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu had declared that Mosques will re-open on Friday, June 19 while places of worship will revive on June 21.

For what reason was the re-opening suspended?

Talking on Tuesday, Sanwo-Olu during a press instructions said the choice to suspend reviving of strict focuses was a direct result of the rising instances of COVID-19 in the state.

He included that the suspension is uncertain.
