Singer, Peruzzi Reveals Why He Quit Medical School To Pursue Music As A Profession

Popular Nigerian singer, Peruzzi has finally revealed to his fans and the world the reason why he left medical school for a career in music.

It is a palpable truth that the singer as we have come to know him now was on a career path to becoming a medical doctor but owing to reasons best known to him, he ditched it for music.

Peruzzi who is signed to Davido’s record label, DMW shared his reason for ditching medicine on an Instagram live interview with Nigerian music executive, Ubi Franklin on the 16th of April, 2020.

According to Peruzzi, going to medical school was influenced by his mother but in the long run, he had to choose what he wants for himself.

In how own words,

“I went to medical school because of my mother. I had to abandon the lab coat (Doctor’s robe), because it wasn’t giving me what i want.”

The singer also stated that he found satisfaction in music as music is what he loved doing.

He also noted that he takes inspiration from the likes of Tuface Idibia, Annie Idibia, Davido and Larry Gaaga.
