TASUED produces 37 first class graduates

The Vice-Chancellor of the Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijagun, Ogun State, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu, on Wednesday said the institution produced 37 first class graduates in the 2018/2019 academic session.

He stated this while addressing journalists ahead of the institution’s convocation scheduled for Thursday (today).

The VC explained that out of 37 first class graduates, 35 were  full-time  students while the remaining two were part-time students.

He said the 3,977 undergraduates and postgraduates in full and part-time programmes would be awarded degrees and diploma certificates on Thursday.

The vice-chancellor said the institution was committed to developing Nigeria through technology.

He Said, “The university also focuses on giving its students adequate training in vocational skills.”

Arigbabu explained further that the university had 59 courses approved by the National Universities Commission.

The VC, however, appealed to the state government to provide adequate fund for the university.
