Some moments ago, Popular Music Blog Naijaloaded CEO Makinde Azeez posted a controversial post on his Instagram page advising Popular Fuji musician Abass Akande Obesere, also known as Omo Rapala who became an Internet sensation recently after his year 2000 (20 years ago) hit song “Egungun Becareful” went viral after been used to caution individuals of staying out of trouble.
In The Open Letter it was understood that they are advising the popular fuji icon to be cautious and should avoid being used by these greedy hip-hop artistes who don’t care about him. Using Duncan Mighty as a case study, who’s nobody cares about anymore but remember how almost every top Artistes featured him on their songs in 2018 after Wizkid brought him out with their then hit song “Fake Love“.
The likes of Tiwa Savage, DJ Xclusive, Lil Kesh, Davido, Peruzzi, Yemi Alade, Phyno, Ortise Femi, MC Galaxy, and many others worked with him when he was seriously popping.

At the moment, Skiibii and Zlatan are already recording a song with Obesere and other numerous artistes are also pulling their strings just to work with him.
This should be a wake up call to our legendary Fuji act Abass Akande Obesere – Don’t let them use you sir.
