Barcelona have announced an agreement with French Club Bordeaux for the signing of Brazilan Malcom.
The La Liga club have defeated Manchester United and AS Roma to his signature and will join once his medical is completed.
The 21-year-old was initially set to join AS Roma but Barcelona Hijacked the deal and have now agreed terms with the Winger.
And the Catalan Club have released a statement confirming the deal which read:
“FC Barcelona and Girondins de Bordeaux have reached an agreement for the transfer of the player Malcom Filipe Silva de Oliveira.
“The operation will cost 41 million euros and 1 million in variables.
“The player will sign with the Club for the next five seasons, until the end of the 2022/23 season.
“Malcom will arrive in Barcelona on Tuesday and will have the traditional photo taken by the Club badge outside the Club offices at 7.30pm CEST.
“The Brazilian player will undergo a medical on Wednesday morning before joining the 2018 FC Barcelona US Tour sponsored by Rakuten.”
Malcom is Barcelona’s third signing so far this summer.
Ernesto Valverde’s team have also signed Arthur Melo from Gremio and Clement Lenglet from Sevilla.
