[News] #OurMumuDonDo To Protest Against Fuel Scarcity On Wednesday

Activist group, OurMumuDonDo Movement, has introduced its plans to arrange a mass movement on Wednesday towards what it defined as the longest-ever fuel scarcity to afflict the country.

The statement become made in a declaration signed with the aid of the group and its associates. According to the announcement, the mass movement will hold at eleven am at the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) Towers in Abuja.

The institution cited that for over 3 months, Nigerians have continued agonizing shortage of disaster, which has prompted a spike in the costs of commodities, hike in the value of transportation and wastage of guy-hours spent at queuing each day at petrol stations.

It similarly referred to that no matter the lack of ability of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration to satisfy its guarantees, Nigerians have kept religion with the government inside the wish that a solution would be located.

“We are extraordinarily displeased that President Buhari has failed always to meet his promise of placing an to stop to the gas problem. The deceit and apathy which have been displayed closer to the suffering loads through the modern administration totally contradict the mandate which Nigerians gave Buhari in 2015.

“Since the lingering gasoline scarcity has now reached an alarming crescendo of misery and public outcry, we at the OurMumuDonDo Movement have decided to make sure that the President, the NNPC and different stakeholders in the oil zone are forced to find a lasting approach to the modern crisis and bog down the sufferings of the Nigerian human beings throughout the state,” the group stated.

It accused the authorities of the usage of propaganda to explain the disaster away, even as Nigerians are buying at extortionate fees in distinct states.
The institution referred to as on all Nigerians stricken by the modern-day fuel scarcity to join the action in opposition to scarcity.
